The M. Cluck was made with two of my TH strip dies. The blue necklace was made with my 2 way glue pen and Michaels Boo Blue Glitter.

HIT Tag with Roses

I had a lot of fun playing with my stamps on Sunday, I created this card using a Hearts in Touch stamped image with my Copic markers and my new tool; ABS-1 with an aircan. After the aircan runs out I'll have to go back to an air compressor. Sure was nice not hearing that noisy machine running.
The flowers were made with my TH Tattered Pinecone die. Leaves were made with TH magnetic dies.  Thanks for Looking and have a nice day!

Don't Follow Your Dreams...Chase Them!

http://vivalas.blogspot.com/2012/10/dont-follow-your-dreams-chase-them.html

This is my second tutorial on VLVS blog. I hope you will stop by to see my project using Viva Las VegasStamps and my new Pop 'n Cuts die.

CC2C#26 Crumpled Kraft Suede

Linda chose Tim's Compendium of Curiosities Vol. 2 page 40 as our 26th challenge techniques; Crumpled Kraft Suede.

The background portion of the piece was made using this week's challenge technique; Crumpled Kraft Suede. I left it blank to show all the highlights this technique gives to your project.
I cut off the elbow from my skeleton stamped image and then reset it to hold his stamped sign. I'm sure he didn't feel a thing. The owl was inked and then highlighted with distress markers and Stickles.
I made the vintage cabinet card into a 3-D project.

Fall Card ~~100th upload this year!

I took my Pop 'n Cuts die with me when we went down to see my mother last week. Mother and I had fun playing with the die.
I used an acorn movers and shapers die along with vintage lace strip die from Tim Holtz/Sizzix. Distress inks were used to color everything on this card.

The leaf die cuts, pumpkin, boo and spider are from my mothers stash of stamps.

12 Tags of 2012 ~ October

I can't believe it took me so long to sit down to make my tag this month using Tim's techniques for 12 Tags of 2012 - October. http://timholtz.com/12-tags-of-2012-october/
It was fun once I got started this morning.
And then, when I finished my tag, the Internet was down until after 7 this evening.

I used Tim's technique with supplies I had on hand.
I used some old glitter from my stash and was so surprised when it was mixed with the alcohol ink.
Thanks Tim for the inspiration!

Time Flies - ATC

As they say, Time Flies when you are having fun!
I was cutting up the diamond stamp on plate # 1428 within the hour they arrived at my door to make this tag.
The time flies and bicycle are from plate #893
 Stamps are from http://www.vlvstamps.com/
The background was made using Perfect Pearls and Palette Stamp and Stick Gluepad
Archival Black ink pad was used on quote and bicycle.
While still wet ultra high gloss embossing powder was used over the tag and heat embossed. Love the Look!
Note: a little bit of perfect pearls came off when I poured off the embossing powder. I didn't poured this portion back into the bottle, if I do this project again, I'll heat set before inking the images.

A request to use Tim's customized watercolor set on this week's challenge.

The sponsor for this week is Simon Says Stamp: http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/StoreFront
One lucky person will be given a generous $25 gift certificate to spend with Sinom Says Stamp.

My challenge technique was trimmed and then adhered to a frayed burlap distress inked resist paper.  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
I used one of Tim's new Classics #2 stamps, introduced this year.

CC2C#24 Alcohol Ink Resist

I finally had time to sit down today and play with this technique. The technique is on page 59 in Tim's Compendium of Curiosities volume 2 book.
I made my piece into an ATC using supplies I had in my stash along with the supplies Tim used on his technique.
I used glossy accents to apply the cardstock to the alcohol piece. Generally, I don't like to see the glossy accents showing but on this piece it's OK.
Thanks for Looking and have a nice day!
